Cloudflare Partner Architect | Remote, USA

This position will be fully remote and can be hired anywhere in the continental U.S. The Cloudflare Partner Architect serves as a strategic technical advisor and enablement leader, bridging Optiv’s sales, services, and partner ecosystems. This role drives pre-sales excellence through deep technical expertise, hands-on solution demonstrations, and enablement programs that enhance both internal teams and client outcomes.The Partner Architect will champion Cloudflare technologies—showcasing use cases, aligning solutions with client goals, and ensuring seamless integration across Optiv’s portfolio.How you'll make an impactTechnical Enablement & Sales SupportDeliver detailed presentations and demonstrations of partner technologies to internal teams and clients.Develop and maintain technical sales tools and documentation, including:Sizing guidelinesBest practice and integration guidesSolution design and implementation documentationLead use case development and create reusable demonstration assets.Build and execute enablement sessions and workshops for sales and technical teams.Solution Strategy & ArchitectureDefine and document solution architectures, product matrices, and roadmap alignment for partner technologies.Provide SKU guidance, bundling strategies, and partner service mapping to drive consistent solution delivery.Collaborate with client advisory and delivery teams to ensure alignment with best practices and deployment standards.Validate service offerings and scoping for technical accuracy and consistency.Client Engagement & Value RealizationSupport client retention and technology optimization through advisory and best-practice assessments.Conduct client workshops to maximize solution adoption and identify upsell opportunities.Partner with Client Solution Architects to ensure clients realize full value from their technology investments.Serve as an escalation point for complex partner-related services and solution challenges.Collaboration & Continuous LearningShadow partner engineering and internal consulting teams periodically to stay aligned on evolving capabilities.Contribute to internal communities of practice and knowledge-sharing initiatives.Maintain expert-level technical certifications in assigned partner technologies.QualificationsEducation & ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience selling or supporting the sales of SASE, cyber security, networking, identity management, cloud or SaaS solutions.Technical expertise in SASE, SSE, ZTNA, SWG, CASB, DLP, SD-WAN, and Email SecurityKnowledge of key market players/competitors in the software defined networking, zero trust and cybersecurity solution spaces.Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop/execute corresponding objectives.Demonstrated experience presenting technical solutions and communicating the value of network and security transformation to senior-level executives.Deep understanding of the modern cybersecurity landscape, including common threats (e.g., malware, ransomware, phishing, botnets) and mitigation strategies.Fundamental knowledge of customer network and application architectures, including hybrid environments leveraging public clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP).Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Secure Web Gateway (SWG), CASB, DLP, DNS security (including DNS over HTTPS), Identity Provider (IdP) integration (SAML, OTP), Email Security, and SIEM/log analytics platforms.Strong verbal and written communications, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.Bachelor’s DegreeHolds one of the following certifications:Cloudflare One FundamentalsExplore Cloudflare Overview: Access, Email Security, Gateway, TunnelCloudflare One EssentialsCloudflare One AdvancedZero Trust 301 (optional, but encouraged)Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and ExperienceProficiency with networking fundamentals, including routing, subnetting, VPNs, and SD-WAN concepts.Familiarity with client operating system fundamentals and software distribution methods.Knowledge of the competitive landscape for SASE and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions.Direct experience with Cloudflare's SASE solutions (e.g. Access, Gateway, Browser Isolation, Email Security) is a significant plus.Strong project management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines and prioritize effectively among competing goals.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentAbility to travel up to 40% for client meetings, partner events, and enablement sessions.#LI-TW1#LI-RemoteWhat you can expect from OptivA company committed to our inclusive value through our Employee Resource GroupsWork/life balanceProfessional training resourcesCreative problem-solving and the ability to tackle unique, complex projectsVolunteer Opportunities. “Optiv Chips In” encourages employees to volunteer and engage with their teams and communities.The ability and technology necessary to productively work remotely/from home (where applicable)EEO StatementOptiv is an equal opportunity employer.
