Shift Manager
We are looking to hire a competent and hands-on Operations Supervisor to oversee both warehouse and production activities within the plant. The role requires a detail-oriented professional who can coordinate daily operations, drive efficiency, and ensure smooth collaboration across production, warehouse, and logistics functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining operational standards, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Job ObjectivesOversee and coordinate daily plant operations, including production and warehouse activities, to achieve set targets and operational efficiency.Monitor workforce productivity, operational processes, and logistics coordination to ensure seamless workflow across departments.Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.Maintain accurate operational data and reports to support performance tracking and management decision-making.ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily production and warehouse operations to ensure schedules and targets are consistently met.Coordinate activities across production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure efficient material flow and operations.Monitor production processes, machinery, and workflows to minimize downtime and improve overall efficiency.Supervise operational staff, including production workers, warehouse personnel, loaders, and technicians.Assign tasks, manage shifts, and monitor team performance to ensure productivity and discipline.Provide guidance, on-the-job training, and support to staff on operational procedures and safety standards.Ensure full compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and workplace regulations.Enforce safety practices, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized working environment across the plant and warehouse.Monitor product quality to ensure it meets internal standards and regulatory requirements.Ensure all machinery and equipment are functioning effectively; promptly report faults to the maintenance team.Oversee the proper use and handling of tools and equipment to prevent damage, accidents, or disruptions.Maintain accurate records of production output, inventory movements, workforce attendance, and incidents.Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to management.Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance productivity, and reduce operational inefficiencies.Implement corrective measures where performance targets or quality standards are not achieved.Support management in executing operational strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure the confidentiality and security of company and operational information at all times.Carry out any other duties as assigned by management.RequirementsMinimum of First Degree (or equivalent qualification) is required.2–3 years’ relevant experience in operations, production, plant supervision, or a similar industrial environment.Key Competency RequirementsKnowledgeStrong understanding of production and plant operationsKnowledge of industrial relations and workforce supervisionAwareness of safety standards and regulatory compliance requirementsUnderstanding of operational efficiency and business performance managementAbility to manage multiple operational priorities effectivelySkills & CompetenciesStrong supervisory and leadership capabilitiesExcellent time management and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and team management abilitiesEffective written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical thinking skillsHigh level of attention to detail and accuracyResourceful, resilient, and adaptable in a fast-paced environmentStrong coordination and operational management skillsBenefitsRemuneration: 100,000.00 - 150,000.00 Gross (depending on experience and competence)Other BenefitsPension remittance in line with statutory requirements13th-month salaryAnnual paid leave (as applicable under company policy)Opportunities for career growth and development within the organizationGroup Life Insurance Method of Application Interested and qualified?
