Student Counsellor / Admission CounsellorRoles & ResponsibilitiesContact prospective students and parents through calls, WhatsApp, emails, and other communication channels.Understand students' academic background, career goals, and preferences.Provide detailed information about colleges, courses, eligibility criteria, admission processes, and fee structures.Guide students in selecting suitable colleges and programs based on their interests and qualifications.Address student and parent queries regarding admissions, scholarships, placements, hostel facilities, and other college-related information.Follow up with interested students regularly and maintain a strong relationship throughout the admission cycle.Convert inquiries into confirmed admissions and achieve monthly admission targets.Assist students with application form filling, document collection, and admission formalities.Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admission status in Excel sheets.Coordinate with colleges and internal teams to ensure smooth admission processing.Stay updated on college offerings, admission deadlines, and fee structures.Preferred Candidate ProfileGraduate in any discipline (Bachelor's degree preferred).0.6 - 2 years of experience in education counselling, admissions, telecalling, sales, or customer service.Excellent communication and convincing skills in Telugu.Strong ability to build rapport with students and parents.Target-oriented with a proven ability to convert leads into admissions.Good knowledge of higher education courses, colleges, and admission procedures.Strong follow-up, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Positive attitude, self-motivated, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
