Job Description

As an ICT Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer you will ensure that software applications and computer systems meet strict performance, reliability, and security standards. You will design testing protocols, detect system bugs, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues before product deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Design & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts (both manual and automated).

  • Defect Tracking: Identify, log, and track software bugs or performance bottlenecks using tracking systems (e.g., Jira).

  • Quality Standards: Ensure ICT systems comply with internal policies, accredited industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaboration: Partner with software developers and cross-functional teams to investigate the root causes of issues and verify fixes prior to launch.

  • Performance Testing: Evaluate system behaviour, load handling, and integrity under various operational environments.
